Music:
I really don’t remember a
time when music was not a major part of my life. Playing nearly a dozen
instruments has allowed me the opportunity to play with bands (even marching
bands), orchestras,
jazz bands, quartets, chamber ensembles.
Amateur and professional musical theater also provided an outlet for my
dance and music training.
I am fortunate that I get to spend my days immersed in music. First as a cello and violin teacher and then as keyboardist, occasional guitarist and vocalist for On Higher Ground (a contemporary worship band at Our Savior Lutheran Church). As a Massage Therapist, I am continually looking for music that will promote healing and relaxation.
My music skills have been
continually challenged since joining Loose Shoes at the end of 2002.
The growth in the group, both in numbers and musically, has been
phenomenal. Even though
everyone in the group holds down a “day” job, everyone works hard to make
the group and each other better.
